Accepting User Proposals to the National Center for CryoEM Access and Training (NCCAT)
The GUP1 access program supports single particle cryoEM data collection on one of our existing Titan Krios instruments using a Gatan K2 direct-electron detector or dedicated NCCAT instrumentation using a Gatan K3 direct-electron detector. The GUP2 cycle supports use of Chameleon (the commercialized version of Spotiton) with a feedback screening report. Lastly, the TP cycle supports embedded researcher cross-training (TP1) and facility manager cross-training (TP2). Additional classes of proposals open based on capacity and availability.
We have a quarterly call for proposals. Deadlines are: | April 1, 2020 for 2020-cycle3 | July 1, 2020 for 2020-cycle4 | Oct 1, 2020 for 2021-cycle1 | Jan 1, 2021 for 2021-cycle2 | April 1, 2021 for 2021-cycle3 |.
NCCAT is committed to an open and transparent application process to ensure equal-opportunity nationwide access.
